Toyota Tundra 200 at Nashville Superspeedway Practice report

OVERVIEW

posted on August 08, 2008

David Stremme concluded his first practice session with the No. 15 Ergon Racing team in 14th-place. His fastest lap of 30.721 seconds (156.206 mph) around the 1.33 mile Nashville Superspeedway has the team looking forward to the race tomorrow.
“We’re off to a great start,” said Stremme at the conclusion of practice. “I think the top-five guys in practice were all in qualifying trim, so we really had a top-10 truck. It felt really good. It was a little tight through (Turns) one and two, but it was getting better and better. We still have a little work left to do to loosen it up, but we’re zeroing in on it. We’ve got one practice session left tonight and I think we’ll be pretty sporty.”

The Toyota Tundra 200 starts tomorrow night 7:30 pm EST. Coverage is on SPEED TV.
