Toyota Tundra 200 Qualifying Report

OVERVIEW

posted on August 09, 2008

David Stremme will start the Toyota 200 at Nashville Superspeedway in 21st-place. The ergon Tundra rounded the 1.33 mile oval in 30.87 seconds (155.422 mph), securing his starting spot on the inside of row 11.

"The Ergon truck was a little loose on our lap," said Stremme. "That's good because the track's going to tighten up tonight. I think we'll be really good for the race. We qualify in the heat of the day and the track is a lot more slick than it will be tonight. The truck got a little bit sideways exiting the turns and that shaved some time off our lap, but I'm not worried about it. We'll be in good shape for tonight."
