James Bruesher’s debut with the Ergon Racing team is shaping up to be a good one. The rookie qualified the No. 15 Tundra in 10th-place for the Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Bruesher’s lap of 32.582 seconds around the 1.5 mile oval was only three-tenths slower than pole sitter Mike Skinner’s time.“The truck felt great,” said Buesher. “We’re off to a good start for the race tonight. Doug made some great adjustments on the truck since practice and it all paid off. Starting inside the top-10 will be a big advantage because track position is so important. Now we need to go racing and finish the job!”
The Ford 200 begins tonight at 8:00 est. Coverage is on SPEED TV.
