O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 at Kansas Practice Report

OVERVIEW

posted on April 25, 2008

Marc Mitchell finished out the final practice session for tomorrow's O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 at Kansas Speedway in 23rd-place. His lap of 164.589 mph was "good, but still needs some work," in his own words. "The Ergon Toyota is lightning fast in (turns) one and two," said Mitchell. "I can flat foot it all the way through that end of the track. When I get to (turns) three and four, it starts to push when I get to the center of the corner. I have to let off the gas because the truck gets too tight. Doug (George, crew chief) and I will put out heads together and make a few changes for tomorrow. I think we're just an adjustment away from having a top-10 truck."

The O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 will begin at 6:00 EST. Coverage will be shown on SPEED TV.
