Lowe's Motor Speedway Practice Report

OVERVIEW

posted on May 16, 2008

Marc Mitchell finished Friday's practice session for the N.C. Education Lottery 200 in 16th-place. The Ergon Toyota battled a tight condition throughout the morning.

"We're not bad overall," said Mitchell following practice. "The Ergon Toyota is a little bit tight coming off the corners, but it's pretty sporty for the most part. We're 16th on the charts. That's a little misleading, though. The truck was handling its best at the end of practice, when our tires were worn down. So our lap times were very competitive with the leaders' times, but because it was at the end of practice, they weren't high on the charts. I think we'll be in good shape tonight."
