Mansfield, OH (May 23, 2008) – Marc Mitchell concluded the final practice session for tomorrow’s Ohio 250 at Mansfield Motorsports Park in 24th-place. The Ergon Toyota’s quickest lap around the half-mile track was 16.606 seconds.“We were a little bit tight on our qualifying run,” said Mitchell. “When I’d get on the brakes, the truck would scoot up the track. We’re not far off, though. My lap was only a tenth and a half away from being in the top-10. The team will make a few tweaks on the setup and that will hopefully be enough to give us a good starting spot.”
Qualifying for the Ohio 250 begins tonight at 6:30. The green flag drops tomorrow at 1:00 EST. Coverage can be seen on SPEED TV.
