Camping World RV Sales 200 At Milwaukee Mile Final Practice Report

OVERVIEW

posted on June 20, 2008

Marc Mitchell finished the final practice session for tonight's Camping World RV Sales 200 at the Milwaukee Mile in 30th-place. The Ergon Toyota never made a mock qualifying run, which kept the #15 team's lap times at bay.

"Our truck was still a little tight at the end of practice," said Mitchell. "We need to work on getting more grip in the front of the truck, especially through the turns. We've definitely improved since the first practice session. We were practicing on old tires. There were a lot of team that put on fresh tires or made a run in qualifying trim. We just practiced in race trim, so our position on the speed charts is a little deceptive. Doug (George, crew chief) and I have a little work to do, but we should be OK for tonight."

Qualifying begins tonight at 6:30 EST. The race starts at 8:00. SPEED TV is covering the event.
